I've done a bit of research and it would seem that it's currently not possible from what people are saying on Reddit, and with the help of ChatGPT doing some research for me. It would seem its baked into the ChromeOS where Google have a Privacy Policy that can't be turned off as of yet. Thats what i've found so far, this may change and hope it does as its an annoying popup the Students don't need to have.

Did you find a fix for this at all? I've got the same thing where its coming up with Control your Data, and the students are needing to click Accept and continue every time. (This is before they are logged in)

Well wasn't aware of this till now... Lets hope the new provider they pass us over to will be decent enough, as we fall under the finishing contract after October 2026.

So I am looking at getting 3CX for my work place, but we have multiple phone numbers that customers can call into. Is there any way that we can give the end users a way to differentiate those numbers without having to remember them? So for example, phone number 1 has a unique name of "Company 1" and the 2nd phone number has a name of "Company 2", and those names would be displayed on the SIP phone/webclient or application when it is ringing. We'd need this as it would determine how the receptionist answers the phone. (TLDR: We have 1 centralised receptionist for multiple offices that come under diff company names) If this isn't possible, any other suggestions?

15 Pro Max for me. My 12 is getting very much end of life now with the battery capacity getting to 85%. Used a 14 Pro Max for quite some time and i have to say, i do enjoy the bigger size compared to my Standard 12. Nice little treat for myself i think

We've always had to install SIMS via SOLUS as we've never found a way that works reliably to deploy it with the image or doing it through GPO. We set the connect ini file to copy to machines within our GPO so that when we do deploy it with SOLUS manually, it will automatically connect. I suggest looking at getting your ini file to be deployed to the machines via a script in GPO, and then unfortunately, might have to use SOLUS to manually deploy SIMS.

I am guessing you just need the Mifare card numbers to be assigned to a specific user in Inventry so they can sign in? If this is the case, all you need is a USB Mifare reader, and you can use the Inventry Console on your PC that is the console back end to Inventry to add the codes to the back of the users accounts. You find the User on the system, edit their record and there is a option to add ID Codes to their accounts.

We have quite a few bits of Mackie kit dotted around our school. But i've had many experiences with some of the smaller Mackie kit and some of the larger systems that they use and they are just a really good general all rounder stuff. I've not had a bad experience yet with them so in my opinion i don't think it will be bad if you go with that style of kit, just really depends on your use case

I was going to say, if you're going to go along the lines of the Mackie you mentioned above, i have had mucho experience with KRK speakers. The RoKit speakers from KRK are really good. Just depends how portable like you said, because you can pick up some good Systems that have 2 satellites as well as a sub for quite a decent price.

From my knowledge of FaceTime and when i use it myself within group calls it can be random for myself. I know from experience that a FaceTime call between 3 people, including myself as one of those 3, the person that initiated the call is not always the first person that appears on the list in my FaceTime history. Sometimes it is indeed true as i personally know who called first, but then sometimes it isn't. I am not sure if this is the same for everyone else, but it seems that way for me on my iPhone. (Only just realized this now by actually looking back at my history)

How odd. I've got 24 81M9 Lenovo 300e 2nd Gen Laptops. PXE boot has worked perfectly fine like i said with the USB Nics that i have used. I've imaged all 24 within 2 days with no issues what so ever. Possibly copying the boot image might work but i must admit, i have never tried that.

I've just finished imaging our Lenovos with PXE boot. We've got some of the Uni USB adapters off Amazon as they are reliable and PXE compatible, https://amzn.to/3L8trvs We just grabbed the SCCM Driver pack off of Lenovos website and slapped it on our WDS/MDT server and it worked fine with our normal Task Sequence. But yes as @Oaktech said, the trackpad doesnt work in our MDT LiteTouch but that wasnt the end of the world for us. Is there any error/reason its not working with WDS/MDT/SCCM?

I've had a few people say this to me today that they are unable to access the admin panel of Microsoft or make any changes. For me personally its been working fine, but i know Microsoft services have been dropping in and out all day for me today. Possibly log a ticket with them id suggest as i knows others have been having issues.

And the standard 1080P webcam has a really wide angle Lens and the audio is fairly okay, but if you need crisp audio, deffo recommend the Logitech webcam. Failing that, we do also use Blue Snowball's as well for specific audio production stuff we need to do. So that could be a option you go down.
