  1. Yes, we've had a few tickets logged this morning. It is loading, but slow (5 minutes or so for a register)
  2. Second KPMS/Virtue. Have been good value for displays/support for us also.
  3. Hello - When you logon it shows this currently - No ETA, but they are aware of it.
  4. Has anyone looked at https://www.wonde.com/products/data-recovery/ at all? (Or already have it) - Looking at it as a potential option to mantain some access to data in the event of another outage.
  5. I think all you can do is the global IP setting. Which for us would mean it would break school laptops off site, unless we found a way to route all Bromcom traffic back over the VPN If it had the ability to interrogate the device, like M365 Office apps do (To check for rooted devices, ensure a device PIN is set & force an app pin if not) - Or lock down to just school owned devices then maybe it would be ok, but right now it's just a GDPR nightmare IMO. When we've banned phones for students, it then feels a bit wrong asking staff to use their personal devices & logon to the school WiFi It's not a solution.
  6. Ugh - Not comfortable with how much info teachers can access on the teacher app (On non school devices) - Not something want to push them towards (Not should we be asking them to use their personal devices to take registers on...)
  7. Yeah it's totally collapsed now - After we told staff registers were fine. Sigh.
  8. Noticed this as well, had it down to install over Easter....
  9. We've done this a few times - Used VMix (I prefer it to OBS) to broadcast to YouTube. Just had a PC in the room with two webcams on (Multiple angles!) - Sound only on outside of school hours & the webcams didn't face any student areas. Only downside of YouTube Live is that it won't keep a recording of the event - You'll need to do a separate save to local storage if you want to keep highlights.
  10. (This is with a GA account, so has to be linked to not having a full copilot license)
  11. Don't see it in the admin centre either - Although colleagues at other schools who have full copilot licenses do, so it might be that.
  12. Yes, broken here also - Two different tenants
  13. My thoughts - Might be wayyy cheaper to buy a laptop with 4g SIM slot. Dell do them (or as you say, iPads)
  14. It's still toast here. I think you got lucky and hit them when schools had gone home for the night.
  15. When you refer to letting exams still use SIMS, how did that then work with the results coming back into SIMS & then needing to be reimported into Arbor later? Or did it not matter? Also - in our inital migration all of our existing exams timetables have come through, did they not come through at all when you did your migration? (Same goes for report data I suppose!)
  16. In the same boat as the OP - There's positive and negatives to both dates so keen to see how others have found this. (Have emailed to sign up to Bromcom community)
  17. Fixed today....
  18. Custom fields are still broken Nope..
  19. Agree - When we have an outage we send out emails to stakeholders pretty quickly - Even if it's just a holding email.
  20. Not having a status page when other TES Products have one (Schoolcloud/roombooking etc) is utterly bizzare. You'd think their service desk team would want one just stop schools calling/emailing every 5 minutes!
  21. It's not always instant - In our testing (& in the MS recommendations) it does say that it takes a while to ripple through the whole system - In our testing we found it didn't immediately update the "waffle" on 365 (The realm would say the old domain) so clicking the link would get confused. It also changes the onedrive URL. Yeah we''re going to put the old email addresses down as an alias to avoid issues where services haven't changed.
  22. Hi all, We need to change our staff/student UPNs & email addresses due to the name change of the school. We've added an extra UPN to our AD & Azure AD Connect, which has happily sync'd through. We've changed a few test users (& dogfooded it on ourselves!) which equally works well. But before we do this, have others done this & if so, are there any major things we need to watch out for? We are aware it'll cause a bit of chaos with some things in sharepoint & how it appears on users desktops https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/upn-changes and some of the changes can take 24 hours to fully sync through to Office 365 before completing - But we think we've got everything noted Any advise from those that have done this would be welcomed Thanks
