Hi, I have a problem with the contact form on my site. I have checked the email address of the only contact which is correct. I have also checked the server settings under global configuration which seem correct. I have compared my site with another site hosted on the same server using exactly the same settings and that works absolutely! Does anyone have any ideas? Many thanks Ryan

thanks will take a look at the permissions on those folders mossj - i did edit the configuration.php file when i uploaded it onto the new server. which folder paths do you mean? i changed the database name and credentials but that was about it ... thanks

hi, yes code was working perfectly on old server, still is. i haven't checked folder permissions to be honest. is this joomla folder permissions in general or just for rokslideshow?

Hi, I have moved our edugeek joomla 1.5 website this morning onto a different server. I exported the database to an sql file, transferred across the files and the imported the sql file into phpmyadmin on the new server. When i access the website on the new server the rokSlideshow on the homepage will not display. I have checked that the images are in the /images/stories/slideshow/ folder and the module is enabled but will still not show. anyone got any ideas? Thanks

Hi, We have recently purchased Sims but have decided to move the sims database onto a new server. the new server i have purchased has the following specs: HP DL360 G6 quad xeon 2.0Ghz 24 Gb RAM 2 - 146Gb 10k hard drives configured as Raid 1 I have installed Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2005 64-bit. I have tried running the simsinst.exe file to install all sims components on this new server before i attach the database and it is failing to install the SQL 2000 desktop engine. has anyone else experienced this issue on a 64-bit and how did they get around it? Any help much appreciated

i would recommend the HP DC7900, we went for the USDT small factor version and fix them to the HP workstation stand to keep them nice and neat. we have about 50 in use at the moment with another 25 arriving next week. not looking to change at the moment!
