this is not a domain controller so I do not have a Network Service account Will it only work on a dc?

I have completed the install process working through the instructions on IIS6 and I get a 'Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage'. I think it is a directory security issue, I have attached a screenshot of the site security settings, any ideas?

unfortunately I now get an 'invalid login' error when trying to login as an administrator for the first time. I have read through the documentation and actually tried reinstalling it from scratch and get the same error, any ideas?

Hi, I am having a problem on a vanilla install of HAP, I have searched the forum but cannot find anyone else who has posted this issue. Basically I have followed the installation instructions and at the point where you browse to the website in IIS I get the following error message: HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid. I have tried reinstalling .Net Framework as I read somewhere this may be the issue but made no difference. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I tried this but get the error - invalid parameter "IIS AppPool\HAP" This worked for me last time I installed HAP but not this time. Are there some IIS role services I need to add? Thanks in advance for any help

great thanks, will look into that - the wireless will be predominantly for 16 iPads and staff laptops so load on any AP is likely to be at most 16-18.

I share the opinions on this thread, I am looking to implement a small wireless infrastructure in a primary school and can not justify the expense of a wireless controller and came across the unifi products. From what I have read about the unifi solutions seems amazing and seems to fit the bill perfectly. Can any tell me how the unifi software handles clients moving between AP's and if this happens seamlessly as it would on a ruckus/meru managed system? Also, does anyone know of any free wireless planning software so I can calculate how many AP's would be required? Looking at the range I think one per classroom would be overkill but would rather get it right first time without having to add additional AP's later on!

Hi, I am having a problem with a 600-series SMART board. The computer is running Windows XP and is connected by a short USB cable directly into the board. The board continuously drops connection and the LED goes red. The fix seems to be to unplug the USB cable from the computer and reconnect it. All of the lights flash and then it goes back to green. I have tried replacing the cable, and updating the smart product drivers to the latest version but the problem persists. I am running out of ideas of what to try, any suggestions? Thanks

It seems a bit vague as far as teaching assistants are concerned. They are obviously classroom based so do not have their own machines and will typically not use a computer other than to assist students, so I would argue that they should not be counted. This could make a massive difference to the FTE count in some schools though!

just when you thought all EES questions had been answered! The FTE staff count consists of staff who work more than 200 hours per year. I have been told that this count only includes 'computer users' who are those members of staff who need a job to fulfil their role. So all teaching staff, headteacher, office based staff with their own computer, obviously automatically fall into this category. Staff who 'use the network to occasionally check their emails etc' do not have to be included. On this basis is it correct not to include TA's, catering and cleaning staff in the FTE count? Hope someone can clear this up for me ...
