    Thanks to all for the positive response to part one of the report on the Apple Birmingham Leadership Event. I have tried to continue to be as open as I can about the day, and whilst there is still considerable criticism in some parts about Apple and their strategy on technology, I hope I am giving some insight into how their tools can be used within schools.     Windows 8 Consumer Preview Released

    The Windows 8 Consumer Preview has been released to the world, giving users a chance to test the most recent incarnation of the Windows operating system before it's release. The preview also includes the Windows Store where apps will be free of charge during the testing period. Microsoft claims there are over 100,000 changes since the early developer preview was released.
