On the opposing side though (as a keen archaeologist and worshipper of all things historical), I can kind of see why some might complain. Its a little bit *too* close to the giant. Would be the same with any monument, I doubt too many would be impressed if I created a mimic stonehenge made of toilet rolls right next to the real stonehenge, or if I made a mimic sphinx next to the real sphinx made out of empty crisp packets. Brilliantly well done though.

With it being made with biodegradable paint I find it more on the funny side as it’s a short term pic. If it was for a longer amount of time with none biodegradable paint it would be a lot more offensive.

If it were a few hills away it wouldn’t be offensive. The site is a religious and historical site that many considered sacred. Childless couples go there and perform certain dances amoung other things so they can have children not to have a giant homer watching them. If this was done on a Christian or Muslim religious site would you all still see it as none offensive? Would you not expect the Christian or Muslim to find it offensive. “HA! I have to say when I first saw this I thought it was going to get interesting because of exactly this argument. Now considering how often Christian imagery is used these days in advertising, tv and other various ways with no respect to what it really is and anyone piping up to complain is normally shouted down or told not to be so sensitive and the whole Islamic cartoon episode not too long ago it will be interesting to see how this is played out. No offence to you, but I just find how these things are handled from differing view points to be very interesting Edit: Oh and yes I sat eating my lunch watching the rain wondering if there was any corellation between magic rain or taht it is a rainy season
