Snow/ice tyres FTW. No slippage at all.

 

Surprising just how a different tread pattern can affect handling. It's just a shame tyres are so expensive, otherwise more people would have snow/ice tyres for the winter.

As for the 4x4s locking up.... people really ought to learn to drive the damn things, they only lock up when using your brakes too much. That's what a gearbox is for, controlled descent and all......

No snow here, just bloody cold again, -18c. forecast more white stuff tomorrow.

Business as normal at ICT Towers in the heart of the Ribble Valley. Grey skies and a sleety-drizzle that never seems to stop.

 

Beginning to wish I still lived in Chesterfield, the rest of my family have had an excellent few weeks of snow!

a nice covering this morning but now, blue sky and sun :'( Leeds.

 

naff all snow but took me 2 hours to do the 30 min drive to my first school as someone decided to have an accident at the greenflag roundabout so stanningly bypass (and the road it bypassed) were at a standstill

 

had to laugh getting out of the road i lived on go 1 way an insignia going nowhere spinning its wheels go other way mondeo doing the same. drove over after the mondeo and not even a hint of wheelspin lol he needed pushing out.

 

Coming down quite fast now by the looks
