Cage Nut Tool

We have have used Comms Express for sometime and one of my colleagues has found this handy little tool which would have saved my fingers many a time. Certainly one to get and keep in your tool kit.

Which, the mechanical one or the 'bit of metal with a bend in' one? because the bent metal ones are AWESOME

Nowt wrong with slicing your fingers, stripping nuckles, breaking nails, stabbing yourself and loosing a load of nuts. It's what makes us hardened I.T. Geeks..

It does but I have a hard time getting the nuts out the cages and have had some nasty cuts from some of the cabs. I do quite a bit of cab rebuilding and tidying and its certainly one tool that will help be big time. Wish it was made along time ago!!!!!

I Just use a flat bladed screw driver. Get one side of the cage nut in the square hole and push the other side with a flat bladed screw driver.

Not sure I'd want to spend £15 to do that, but I have to admit, it would be a very useful tool to have.

That doesn't work quite so well getting them out believe me.. I've used one of these for many years now and they are brilliant ...
