Gooooooooooooooooooooood morrow gentlefolk!

It's time to reveal today's prize and winner from The VeryPC Madvent Calendar. Oh, and we got some new Christmas lights too.

Quick reminder - to enter Madvent, you must email a no obligation quote request to [email protected] with 'Madvent' in the subject and include your Edugeek username and professional contact details too. If it's IT related, we can probably get it at a great price for you, so you can ask for mostly anything (PCs, tablets, laptops, peripherals, components, software, networking etc etc...)

ALSO - we have a pre-Xmas offer on Lenovo and Samsung Laptops exclusive to Edugeek - click for the thread here: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/our-advertisers/105834-exclusive-laptop-deals-edugeek.html

Top death star making! Even added the option laser, nice touch!

Thanks must go to @VeryPC_Tom_M for the work on that one. He's considering the origami Pokemon thingy @X-13 submitted too, but work has not yet begun in earnest.

I think they're secretly doing a risk assessment on me running with scissors and eating glue sticks! ;)

(I've got it printed out but haven't started the "Assembly" yet)

Hi All,

Thought I would quickly drop a line to say thanks to Tom at VeryPC for the prompt service in sourcing our printer and saving us around £150!! pound compared to our normal suppliers :)

Thanks Tom.

Morning and happy new Madvent week to you everybody!

I will reveal the winner of the 1st star prize in a moment, but first some notices:

I'm not being overly vocal about my happiness at winning yet because I am yet to find out if I have won the PC or if my employer has (at least as far as my employer / contract etc. is concerned).

Fingers crossed for me please everyone, I really do need a new PC.

Home address ftw. If it arrives at work...its a personal order and nobody was home to collect.

I could have kept my big gob shut and done that but I have a tendency to stupid honesty. :(

I'm hoping they will let me keep it; it's not like they need it.

The decision is in:

Official audit advice is that the PC belongs to the employer (in theory).

However! There isn't an official policy yet so:

THE PC IS MINE!

Thank you VeryPC!

And thanks to everyone who had crossed fingers too. :)

Sweet. I'm flipping jealous TBH, would not mind that spec for a home (or even pro) PC meself.

...and you are welcome - a real pleasure.

Colin's been at it again - going all QVC on us! Nah, seriously he's doing an excellent job showcasing the best products that VeryPC have to offer. Today it's the turn of our flagship Ultra Small Form Factor desktop PC, the BroadLeaf One. See the video in our Green Computing forum here:

Ahem, "no one is on 5 yet"?

3 for an order + Derpy + Delibird + NO cat - "Tis the season" - 1 for a win + randon quote request for [something] Tom [letter goes here] couldn't find = 6 [Considering "tis the season" still counts towards my limit.]

Also, 'grats @Little-Miss

Actually the decorations only count as 1 extra entry in total I'm afraid, but either way if you do name the mystery VeryPC Ninja (and no, it's not Ezio, despite this:

) you'll definitely get an extra entry into the chassis (clue: he likes potatoes and Little-Miss thought he looked "sooooo bored" a few vids back).
