X-13 Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 (edited) So... Christmas Haribo for everyone? Every time I see that Baileys, I think of Old Gregg. “You ever drunk Baileys from a shoe?" Edited December 12, 2012 by X-13
VeryPC Posted December 12, 2012 Author Posted December 12, 2012 Top death star making! Even added the option laser, nice touch! Thanks must go to @VeryPC_Tom_M for the work on that one. He's considering the origami Pokemon thingy @X-13 submitted too, but work has not yet begun in earnest. 1
VeryPC_Tom_M Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 but work has not yet begun in earnest. I think they're secretly doing a risk assessment on me running with scissors and eating glue sticks! (I've got it printed out but haven't started the "Assembly" yet)
dobsonl Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Hi All, Thought I would quickly drop a line to say thanks to Tom at VeryPC for the prompt service in sourcing our printer and saving us around £150!! pound compared to our normal suppliers Thanks Tom. 3
Guest TheLibrarian Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Morning and happy new Madvent week to you everybody! I will reveal the winner of the 1st star prize in a moment, but first some notices: I'm not being overly vocal about my happiness at winning yet because I am yet to find out if I have won the PC or if my employer has (at least as far as my employer / contract etc. is concerned). Fingers crossed for me please everyone, I really do need a new PC.
featured_spectre Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Home address ftw. If it arrives at work...its a personal order and nobody was home to collect.
Guest TheLibrarian Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Home address ftw. If it arrives at work...its a personal order and nobody was home to collect. I could have kept my big gob shut and done that but I have a tendency to stupid honesty.
featured_spectre Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Then if you blabbed...its the schools. Tsk Tsk.
Guest TheLibrarian Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 I'm hoping they will let me keep it; it's not like they need it.
Guest TheLibrarian Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 (edited) The decision is in: Official audit advice is that the PC belongs to the employer (in theory). However! There isn't an official policy yet so: THE PC IS MINE! Thank you VeryPC! And thanks to everyone who had crossed fingers too. Edited December 13, 2012 by TheLibrarian And everyone else.
VeryPC Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 Hi there - It's a big day in the geek calendar today. VeryPC Posted December 14, 2012 Author Posted December 14, 2012 Ahem, "no one is on 5 yet"? 3 for an order + Derpy + Delibird + NO cat - "Tis the season" - 1 for a win + randon quote request for [something] Tom [letter goes here] couldn't find = 6 [Considering "tis the season" still counts towards my limit.] Actually the decorations only count as 1 extra entry in total I'm afraid, but either way if you do name the mystery VeryPC Ninja (and no, it's not Ezio, despite this: ) you'll definitely get an extra entry into the chassis (clue: he likes potatoes and Little-Miss thought he looked "sooooo bored" a few vids back).
