Well neither of you is getting the job since you've both failed on initiative!

The poster leaves an e-mail address - I suggest you use it :)

Harris Federation does sound like something out of start trek, pretty cool!

*Captain, we're nearing the border of the Harris Federation."

Sorry but you are wrong. The OP states:

But like the others say there is nothing on the site :(

It sounds interesting but the salary seems a little low for London.

As stated it’s a great opportunity and salary, those of you who know about the Educational Sector may be aware of the Harris Federation reputation and excellence in all areas including IT.

Its s unique position in the sector to be in a leading edge establishment.

The salary seems to be in keeping with most other school roles at this level in london TBH with a years experience

They'll still struggle though against private firms in the city, depends on how fussy they are

This job description looks "broken" to me. One years experience, for a network administrator with *staff supervision experience*. I don't buy it. They aren't sure if they want a technician or a manager, and they've compromised by offering the manager's job with the technician's salary.

Ouch! Thought you were kidding about the salary... that's a senior technician salary outside of London, let alone inside it! I think the reason is the "senior Network Manager" bit, which basically says that the post is actually really just a Senior Technician post, just someone who happens to organise the normal techs as well.

Yes Darms - HarrisFed does have a good rep, and it would be an interesting job - simple fact is though, for a London job, the salary just isn't that attractive for anyone but a normal tech who wants to take half a step up the ladder.

That would be very good on your CV for a younger tech. Well you get a senior IT guy in charge of you and your running a prober network and deploying workstations using images. That why I got the information on it. :D

I waiting for the invitation to interview now! 8)
