alan-d Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 I've been playing with php for a couple of years without knowing any coding. Now teaching myself how to do it properly so may be of help proofing and testing. I know nothing of *nix though - I only use windows with apache, php, MySql and phpMyAdmin.

Secondly, we could still do with a couple more devs, not necessarily PHP devs, we have some tasks for which Perl or Python would be equally useful. My PHP/SQL skills are awesome, but time is my enemy How much work is involved exactly? That will differ between modules. Some need to be written from scratch, while others just need testing and modifying to work with Joomla 1.5. Whatever amount of time you can spare, I'm sure I can find tasks to fill it
contink Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 I can't put a lot of time in due to my own coding committments but I do have some pre-written PHP stuff for Calendar, a Links/Address Directory and Download handling if that would be of any use. If you could give me some idea of the base code you're planning to use that'd be useful..
