I updated to v2.6.2915.27400 MR4 the week before last. Everything working well except we can't seem to turn on the resource manager anymore. We turned it off a couple of weeks before the end of term because we had a timetable change, but now I need it back on.

I've cleared the resource manager data and run through the wizard again, restarted the application pool and website on our server but it still wont activate.

Any thoughts anyone? I have raised a ticket but hoped someone on here might have a quick fix?

Look for the column turn_on_resource_manager and set it to TRUE.

Edit: or restore an old softwareSetup.aspx into /Staff temporarily.

Hi Adam,

If you can log a support ticket here: https://customers.opsoftware.net/ we can get this sorted for you.

We know of an issue that we introduced in MR4 that can cause this, however it can be resolved fairly quickly :-)

You cannot restore an older version of the page as there will be a mismatch with the compiled .dlls then

Also if you ever edit any data directly in the database ALWAYS remember to restart the application pool and website to ensure that correct data is reloaded or you could end up with corrupted data.

Anyone know what happened to this product. When we tried it, it had massive potential and it is a real shame it appears to have completely disappeared. It was developed from what I recall with schools in mind and cost wise was a no brainer. I I had had the money myself I would have bought it out myself... Edited by aac
