Windows 7 Printer Installation

Hi

 

We are having problems with printers in our network. We have a mixture of different printers, canon photocopiers, brother laser jets etc. We use roaming profile for students and sometime when they log into machines they have no printers or printers from different rooms. How do others deploy printers to computers and not users?

we use Printer management in server 2008 to deploy printers to rooms or you could use a startup script

always used a start up script my self. Check google for ideas

I personally would like to see something like Novell iPrint.....

Try using a script to clear out all connected printer at log off. I have used 'con2prt.exe' before.
