  1. I know laptop HDD's are large enough nowadays but do you have any synching issues when synching large amounts of data i.e. 20GB+? What is the most space used by a single member of staff using offline files?
  2. Just interested to know if any of the schools providing unlimited space for staff use offline files with staff laptops? If not what do you use instead? At the moment we have a limit of 15GB for staff, but we do freely up this if needs be.
  3. We use Wasp Mobile Asset, a barcode based asset system. I've used plenty of different systems over the years and this is easily the best. The combination of barcode asset tags and a hand held scanner means no more fiddling with bits of paper.
  4. Try using a script to clear out all connected printer at log off. I have used 'con2prt.exe' before.

  6. Take a look here. Scratch removers | Products | Auto Express
  7. I have used 'Site Helpdesk - IT' before. Very easy to use, plenty of features, and reliable.
  8. Take a look at Microsoft KMS.
  9. I had this problem earlier today. Is all i did was power off/on, but i guess you have done this already.
  10. Avaya IP Office 500 with a mixture of 9608 & 9641 IP Phones, Very good system with plenty of features and very easy to manage. It’s been in and working just over a month and all is well so far, apart from the odd phone freezing.
  11. I would reccomend part worns but only if they are in good condition with no repairs or damage. I know my dad has used them in the past and does 40K+ miles a year with no problems.
  12. +1 for Supplies for Schools.
  13. Take a look at; Net Send LAN messenger for Windows 7. Free programs for instant messaging within LAN or MS Lync if you want to go down the paid route.
  14. As DT2 said, it is a bit ridiculous downloading that much in a month. If they are doing that much downloading it certainly begs the question of whether they are doing their jobs properly?
  15. If your switch/router supports it you could use port mirroring on the port the AP is plugged into and monitor the traffic with maybe something like wireshark.
