Has anyone got any experience\knowledge of a instant messaging type system that is capable of sending an alert? This is for use in a Pupil Referral Unit, so that the staff can instantly alert other staff from their PC should some of the students "kick off". Any advice\guidance much appreciated!

Would strongly second MalwareBytes... had the exact same trojan and cleared the problem. A cracking piece of software. Re Sparklebox toolbar... can anyone actually see what it does, bar blocking net access, etc? We've blocked it from being download via the filtering policy.

With the low turn out and such a small majority actually voting for the strike, I can't believe that Unison have actually gone out. I would seriously recommend CloneZilla, which is open source. We've dumped Ghost and have been using this to image all of our new machines. It can either be used as a Live CD using a USB drive for a handful of machines or using a Linux server and the DRBL option, it can be used just like Ghost Corporate, multicasting out toa stack of machines.
