Firewall

Dear All,

 

We are looking to move away from Smoothwall as our UTM, and go to perhaps Palo Alto, or perhaps Lightspeed for the filter, and a separate firewall. But how do you do it? What is everyone else using???

 

Any comments or recommendations welcome!

Why the move from Smoothwall?

We have had various problems that were never satisfactorily resolved by the support team despite long calls. Authentication issues, a firewall that was not as good as our five + year old Sonicwall, problems with reporting and the time it took to produce any. A few other niggles and issues, and we have had enough.

Just bought a Palo, not cheap in comparison to some others but you get so much control and visibility I'd say it's worth it
