I prefer Kenco or other ones as can't stand Nescrape

 

Costa and Starbucks have some things that need improving such as mochalatte ( tastes like burnt coffee )

Both there coffees are over roasted to keep longer. So yes they are burnt!

I love coffee, but hate it when I ask for a black coffee, I get a watered down espresso.

Espresso is one type of drink. This 'fad' for making all drinks an espresso that is modified is crap.

A good java or blue mountain mmmm

They are all good. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with an espresso, but a white coffee should not be an espresso watered down!

They need differant beans and dif proccess to make.

I'd be careful with those things, I used to drink them like they were going out of fashion and I think I've now made myself sensitive to caffeine... I'm OK with about 3 cups of coffee a day, well spaced, but more than that and I'm practically passing out! Can't even touch the likes of Monster/Rockstar/Red Bull any more, a single can and I'm very ill!

Used to drink a instant called rocket fuel. It carried a health warning!

It's because they do filter coffee which as long as you don't leave it sitting around too long is pretty hard to get wrong.

 

The problem with most of the chains is they sell espresso based drinks which require skill to get right.

 

That used to be the case, these days (or certainly in all the McDonalds I've been in in the last 4 years or so) they have a machine that does all the hard work .. so whilst they still do it with no skill level, that drinks they produce are from bean to cup "robots" .. still .. a nice cup though .. and with the seventh cup free (which is never free as I always get large ones from McDs, so it costs me 30p for the 7th cup) you can't complain too much I guess .. lol ..

I must admit I do like McD's coffee - a lifesaver in the morning when you've driven twenty miles with a mouth like Mick Jagger's armpit.

We have a Ariete Cafe Chic machine, just add ground coffee, bit of a messy job but worth it. Coffee depends on whats on offer from Atkinsons Lancaster | Artisan Coffee | Coffee Roaster | Loose Leaf Tea Lancaster.

 

Get the fix first thing and running on caffeine all day...
