Only 3 weeks holiday though? 15 days? Not sure what that is about.

We shouldn't be discussing job terms on this board, but I have fired off an email to the school querying this as legally they must give 28 paid days leave (20 + 8 public holidays) for a full time employee.

I may be missing something, but isn't that only on full full time jobs? If that post is only for term time + 2 weeks which it seems to be (giving a contract of 44.27 weeks per year.)

 

Don't they get different times?

I missed the 44.27 weeks per year. The ad is poorly written in that case as it doesn't actually say it's term-time + 2 weeks. I'm sure they'll clarify!

Aye, only an assumption based on those weeks Guessing it's roughly term time + X, but we'll se. Could just be weird setup

It's confusing because the vacancy page states clearly that it's a 52 week a year job for a fixed length of one year.

Morning All.

 

I'm the IT Systems Manager of the school and I can confirm that the job is supposed to be 52 weeks and not term time. I suspect that one of the admin team copied holiday from a term time only job. I believe the post should have 20 days holiday plus the 8 public holidays.

 

I have sent in a request to our School Business Manager, but she is away over easter, so I may not have a definite answer until next week.
