T-shirts....

I'm not sure anyone would be interested but I'm getting some t-shirts made with logos on such as Cisco, Juniper, HP, Linux etc etc just to show support for the vendors as I do alot of work with them. Then I also thought why not put the Edugeek logo on there too either front or back also the username so mine would be "cpjitservices".

 

I'll get one made see how much it costs and then if anyone else fancies it I'll get some more made.

I don't know if you've already got a firm in mind for doing the t-shirts but I use a company called Modern Embroidery (Modern Embroidery, Lancashire | Embroidered Workwear, T-Shirts, Polo Shirts, Hoodies, Fleeces) who have been very good to me for bits I've had done and I've seen other bits of their work.

 

I already have my own company t-shirts so I probably wouldn't get one, but thought I'd give Chris a plug as he does do a fantastic job!

Indeed, doing this would be both copyright and trademark infringement unless you have written permission to use them.

Really? ok may not be such a good idea then unless I just use Edugeek and get permission to use that.

The EduGeek logo, etc are also copyright / trademarked too ... and they have sold stuff in the past and I wouldn't be surprised if it happens again (hint @ZeroHour and @Dos_Box)

Not sure, I'd of thought so - I can't see them objecting!

 

I would check - we had to wait a few days when I asked the Kaviza guys (now Citrix VDI in a box) if I could get a SVG copy of their logo for use in some powerpoint slides I was putting together.

 

A few of these companys do (like said before with EduGeek) also make their own stuff every now and again (I have a Microsoft Polo top) and wouldn't be best pleased if you were to take away (even a small amount) of their potential revenue.

If you are a partner / certified provider you will often find that they give you certain rights to use their logo on clothes, etc ... so it might still be worth asking folk if you can. I know Cisco and CompTIA do it that way ... not sure about others.
