I imagine you paid 3x the normal price for the roses?

 

It's just an excuse for companies to inflate their prices and for people to feel the need to have to buy these things. You can tell somebody you love them any day of the week, and buy them a gift any day of the week. Why do we need a special day?

We don't bother with valentine cards/roses etc. It's more for teens and singles, hardly mothers/fathers or birthday is it.
