elsiegee40 Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 I've just got home from work and a day of school inspectors to find a parcel on the doorstep addressed to me. There's no label or letter inside, just a shoebox sized box wrapped in turquoise and white ribbons... full of chocolate! I have no idea who it's from. The only company we deal with that uses those colours is our bank - Barclays and I haven't complained to them recently. The day just got a whole lot better
localzuk Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 I think they must've got the wrong address... Was supposed to come to me!
Vegas Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 A confused postman perhaps who doesn't understand how the tip system works. 1
Oaktech Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 the mystery deepens... that is a montezuma chocolate hamper, they are just using those colour ribbons atm, we've just bought one as a xmas present.
elsiegee40 Posted December 5, 2011 Author Posted December 5, 2011 Just got to keep my teenagers out of it now! It's mine, I tell you, MINE!
rad Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 So it has your name on it, but why would barclays send out £50 chocs?
elsiegee40 Posted December 5, 2011 Author Posted December 5, 2011 I have no idea. It's only the colour of the ribbon that makes me think of them.. I can't think who would send them to me... and it isn't my husband btw!
witch Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Lucky, Lucky you. I just about manage the odd giant chocolate button from my most beloved suppliers - but only if I SHOUT VERY LOUDLY.....
