Stolen Dogs

Hi all,

I have been relieved of my two prized pomeranians this morning by some tool.

I'm in the rochdale area, but if anyone north-west based comes across an older male and female (sable and ginger respectively) for sale please do let me know.

Got to find a way to tell the kids yet....

facebook groups may help with this as well. Good luck in finding them, I know what its like to have stolen pets

Were they chipped?

 

Put notices up in vets, keep an eye on Gumtree, ebay and the local classifieds.

 

Phone the local paper, see if you can get them to do an article with a photo of the dogs. They like stories for slow news days and you never know your luck.

Nope, and neither had collars on either. Mainly due to the fact that they don't wear them around the house because of the issues with hair and matting. I'm already scouring the likes of loot and gumtree. Dog warden and dogs home is next...... words really cannot describe how much I'd hurt the person who took my dogs. I've learned to deal with loss, but the kids, how will they possibly understand?

Just to let you know, the dogs were recovered this afternoon.

Some kind soul had seen them left on the other side of town and taken them to a vets (Male is very very car sick ).

Luckily the vet knows my cousin and she phoned me.

SO relieved.

cue large fence with extra locks and spikes/electricity......

Glad to hear you have them back safely but why aren't they chipped? I know educated thieves (if there is such a thing) may be able to remove the chip but at least it's another line of defence.

My family had Poms about 30 years ago, and 2 nicer dogs, you couldn't wish to meet. Was a real shock when they both went. Beautiful animals.

 

Glad that all has turned out well. Now to get combing them.....

They are being chipped as we speak....

Perhaps it might be worth posting a pic of them once they're sorted....

So chuffed you have them back. It's always when I start getting confidence back in this country that I hear about scum of the earth like that. If someone took my dog and I found out who it was, I'd have a pretty hard time controlling myself.
