Dos_Box Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 (edited) Many of you have very kindly been offering to help Shaun replenish his drastically reduced stocks of coffee over the past few days via Twitter and IM as he's been running on caffeine since last Thursday. If you feel like cheering him up and want to donate, please send your donations to the Edugeek office address below and I'll forward it onto him: Edugeek Unit 5, Albert Edward House Ashton-on-Ribble Preston Lancs PR2 2YB UK Please make sure it has a kick to it as Shaun is immune to anything below strength 3. Filter coffee only please. No instant. Edited November 14, 2011 by Dos_Box
synaesthesia Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 We're not big coffee guys here, however my NM does grow a mean line of Habereno chillies - perhaps he'd be interested in some Nescafe spiked with those? (Noone has dared to eat one in front of us yet, disappointingly. They are hot enough to make you willingly suckle Anne Widdecombe in hope for some fluid)
featured_spectre Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Could I not just send money instead so he can buy the brand of choice?
MK-2 Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 A jar of Mellow Birds is on its way I second @nephilim, could we donate someway so he can buy some of his choice? 1
Dos_Box Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 A jar of Mellow Birds is on its way I second @nephilim, could we donate someway so he can buy some of his choice? Not easily (for tax reasons). Besides I suspect the gift of 'random nice coffee' would be well received. As would cake and biscuits. Besides, you can buy coffee online and have it delvered here, and ask people like Ric and Domino what they would recommend. Although drinking coffee with Ric and Shaun often feels more like a dare than anything else. The last coffee I had with Ric had been through a rodent first!
Oaktech Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 yeah baby, rodent sh*te coffee is the way forwards for real coffee lovers! And extra congrats to shaun.
MK-2 Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 The last coffee I had with Ric had been through a rodent first! That's Lancashire for you 1
Domino Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 First thing I did when I heard he was working all hours was send ZH a nice coffee from a nice place in old London town! Heritage Although this costa rican bad boy is a good bet too usually ;-) 1 Kilo - Costa Rican - Zamorana Single Estate | Garraways
pete Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 willingly suckle Anne Widdecombe *adds phrase to proxy blocklist, goes off in search off mind bleach* Will see what we can do.
CHR1S Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Jeebus Coffee is expensive!! (Well Good Coffee is;))
jedmondson Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Jeebus Coffee is expensive!! (Well Good Coffee is;)) So true.
Ric_ Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 The last coffee I had with Ric had been through a rodent first! Weasels are not rodents.
dhicks Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Filter coffee only please. No instant. I'll pop in to the corner shop by the tube on the way home and see what they have.
teejay Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 After a few days of 'Work you &^%$£^*' I'd have thought he needs some soothing green tea.....on second thoughts I can imagine the reaction to that, not pleasant.
Dos_Box Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 It would be similar to trying to feed him vegatables I think.
teejay Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Some 'Original All-Nighter' on it's way. That's coffee btw, not little blue tablets....
elsiegee40 Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 At this rate ZH will be retiring from edugeek and retraining as a barista! (probably less stressful!)
pcstru Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Please make sure it has a kick to it as Shaun is immune to anything below strength 3. Filter coffee only please. No instant. Serious? Coz we do coffee here - ho yuss! Does Shaun have a grinder, if not what grind would he/she like? We have some Australian Skybury on the go - roasted on Saturday and the very last of the 2010 crop. For consideration into the roaster (probably towards the end of the week) we have a choice of Ethiopia Harrar Nicaragua Finca Los Miligros Costa Rica Don Mayo Finca Bella Vista Kenya Mukui AA Kenya Gakuyuini AA My recommendation would be the Gakuyuini on a light roast.

Ill take some Moroccan Black if you have it? Oh wait what, coffee you say?
elsiegee40 Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Is Shaun able to keep tabs on how many of us reactivate our accounts? It would be quite a useful measure of how many of us are active.
