[fog] FOG Joining Domain Problem

Morning all,

 

I have a very strange problem with my Fog server and wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction as I can't seem to find anything about it.

 

All is working fine with the server except for when adding the client to the domain. When the check box is marked for join domain it doesn't show the "\" in the username field. If I then add said "\" and click update I get a double backslash. If i then click update again i will get four of them.

 

Example

 

- After marking checkbox for join domain - "domainnameusername"

- Add the backslash - "domainname\user"

- Click update - "domainname\\username"

 

If I go into the database and edit the record manually and set it to what it should be the client will then add to the domain successfully.

Thanks for that. I had a look at my PHP.ini file but MagicQuotes is already turned off.

Did you restart apache?

yep i did and i restarted the server in the end and still no joy.

Which version of Fog you using, I think the new version has this fixed.

There is a separate bug when pushing the AD settings through groups and I'm not aware it was fixed. Try with a new host and set the AD credentials directly on that host.
