SimpleSi Posted October 5, 2011 Author Posted October 5, 2011 Its the PSU - cross coupled it from another base unit and it worked - luckily only 2 months old so now the joys of getting FS tech support to believe that I know what I'm taking about and please just send me another PSU Si Si

Our head of science once spilled beer on his laptop. I replaced the keyboard but I think the damage had been done as it then started to have seemingly random faults, so we made him buy another laptop.

witch Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 I just had the fun of a psu go -nice to revert to my old electronics test tech days - except for that moment when it blew up of course! Sad news is, replaced the psu but now have no video signal
