Well, it seems the indian summer that was predicted for the UK has arrived. I've been trying to do a couple of vids with a voice over that involve me closing the office windows to remove external noise such as sandwhich vans playing tunes as they park up outside nearby offices. With the sun shining directly on my windows I last 2 mins before it gets to hot to carry on. Anyone else feeling the heat in their office yet?

It is never cold in our office! It is even hot in the winter, when there is snow outside. We do not have air-conditioning or a windows in our office! It is insane sometimes.

I'm sitting below a freezing cold air con unit so can't tell, I'll be popping out on lunch though and may go home and have a little sunbathing session before returning to the grind!

LOL. Sunbathing up here usually has the potential bathee asking themselves the essential question 'What coat should I take'?

27.5 C in our office......windows open, front door to the block open, office door open, gentle draught blowing through.

Jacket off, shirt sleeves rolled-up, collar open, dead quiet, year 7 CAT's.

Internet, MP3's on the mobile, coffee made.......

This is how I dream my retirement will be.

:cool2:

Just been outside and it is baking! Lovely day, makes the claims by the papers that it will snow in October look a bit silly.

Without kids, it's about 25 degree's in this classroom.

With kids, that temp rises to 30+. 16 computers, 20 people and no air con isn't fun.

I have to wait a little longer today, Football match against another school this afternoon.

Hot...so hot..headache and feel a bit sick - very small office - no windows, inadequate fan...Three computers, two servers.

Will be walking the dog by the sea in a bit though - that'll be lovely :)

With our converted toilets housing both our office and server at least we have air con currently at 20C, I was just getting used to a temperature drop and brought a new coat last week then this happens! Short sleeve shirt all the way this week and refreshments in our fridge :)

It's getting quite nasty in the EduGeek office ATM. I've got the window open and a fan on and it's getting very uncomfortable now. I can honestly say it's the best weather we've had all year!

Didn't you get the great weather around Easter/Royal Wedding up there in the North? Those were a great couple of weeks. I've be able to get the next two days as leave, so that's me catching some rays!

Oh yeah, and it is glorious here, really warm, didn't want to come back in to the office after having lunch outside.

Pleasantly warm today..... I spent 45 mins talking to our HT while she was on duty outside at lunchtime ..... with the added bonus that it was a great way to get some uninterrupted time to discuss some issues with her.
