Costs £1500 mind...

glennda Posted April 12, 2013 Author Posted April 12, 2013 Me being a geek :-) Basicly i need a simple way of remotely sending a signal via the network to the gpio board i guess to activate a solinoid? Or activate something which i am yet to decide!
SimpleSi Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Get a mains remote controled switch and then just break into the remote controller and use your RPi to imiate pressing buttons on the remote or use this method of directly controlling 433Mhz ones Safe Automated Mains Sockets (I'd just go with hacking into a remote myself - not tried it but it can't be that hard as long as your buffer the RPi from the remote (my favourite chip to do this is the ULN2003 - 37p from CPC ) Tons of stuff on the forum to do remote control over the web I'd thought Raspberry Pi • Index page Nice little project Simon
