Local Meets (South West)

Just out of interest. would anyone be up for local meets? Or has been tired and failed on here?

Depends on where abouts you are in SW though.

i live in gloucestershire. Might have to sort areas out. But i do meet up with guys from FEOC.com normaly once a month

On a more general meet, speak to the SWGFL or your LA IT Support Team. From experience, they will always help out with arranging meets and agendas etc. SWGFL and SCOMIS have been good at this for those in the Plymouth - Taunton area.

I'm just finishing at my job in Minehead and will be moving to a school in Bristol, which apparently has a conference centre. When I'm settled in, I may look into it!

I know of about 6 members on here from Bournemouth/Poole area. Would be good to get people together from other schools I have never met before. Networking so key nowa days ; )

We did used to have a NM/Tech group in Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and Dorset administered by a local high school NM but he left - I still have most of the contacts but being part-time I have no access to anywhere to hold meetings.

met Lionel Blair and Bonnie Langford in Bournemouth. Traumatised the wife. Never been back...... but the Bournemouth Air Festival is luring me there once more. Chocks away.
