elsiegee40 Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I'm in and out. We broke up last Wednesday and I worked for the whole of last week. I'm back in on August 9th for a couple of days (hopefully won't take more than 3) and then back again after the August bank holiday.

john Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Im here all 365, well nearly, I try to check in daily as most of the mods and admins do, but I do occasionally do the old person thing that is get in from a stressy day at the office, eat food and then fall asleep and wake up at like midnight and go hmm maybe bed is an idea.

We went in October a few years ago and loved it. It was VERY cold at that time of year, even the local teenagers were bundled up in hats and coats, but we did see the Northern Lights! A summer months return has been discussed in the gee household! It is very expensive out there... and, I know it's a delicacy, but seriously the rotten shark tastes every bit as as bad as you'd imagine!

I've got the last week off in August through to September as the 1st is my birthday going to the Lakes for a few nights where I will have no access as mobile signal is too poor to get the 3G working!!

Damn, someone get me my cane, I do that almost every day. Lots of people will still be on the forums though and as RabbieBurnes says, for some of us it is winter (like here) and we are in the middle of a two week term holiday instead.

Bless, I am on a 52 week contract so get x amount days holiday just like you however you are more fortunate than me as I have to take my days in the school holidays and you don't so quit whinging Ben
localzuk Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 I'll be around for some of it - got a couple of weeks of documenting work to do, then moving to Bristol around the 20th and then starting my new job on the 31st August. Luckily, there's no big projects going on here this summer!
