Devontechie Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Just seen on the Marketplace on my phone that Angry Birds is available.. But MS want you to buy it.. It aint free like on other phone OS
HMCTech Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 I paid for it on iOS and a quick check shows it's still £0.59
dezt Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 I paid for all 3 of them on the ipad, they cost me £1.59 each, or something like that, it was only for my htc hero that it was free, but that ran like a dead goldfish.
MK-2 Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 i think its only android its free on (unless thats now changed)

HaleStorm Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 thats because windows phone is a M$ product....and they coding for the game to run on WinMo is alot more complex
CyberNerd Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 thats because windows phone is a M$ product....and they coding for the game to run on WinMo is alot more complex so let me get this right... Linux is the dominant operating system, windows is difficult to write for/port apps to and Apple makes more money than MS and IBM put together... things sure change pretty quick in the IT world
CAM Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Free with ads on Android but they cause unplayable lag on a Wildfire S until the ad fades.

Superade Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Bonus' of WP7 version are: - The game's not full of advertising for Tenna Lady & Savage drain covers of Nuneaton - Xbox Live achievments
jamesfed Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 The whole idea of Windows Phone is high quality every time without fail - thats why the hardware has a min spec and Microsoft limit what OEMs can do UI wise. The same comes down to applications - in fact something I saw on the web said WP7 was the most stable phone OS out of iOS, Android and BB. However to get this level of quality you do get the premium price tag....

However to get this level of quality you do get the premium price tag.... At the moment the WP7 stuff is actually cheaper than both iOS and Android phones of simmilar spec by a long way thanks to the lower volumes. You get way more phone for your money going WP7 than the others currently, at least here. I agree totally about the quality that the fixed spec has led to as all the WP7 phones I have used have been smooth and fast. Unfortunatly it looks like Nokia is going to stuff this up with their wiggle room by adding form factors and also a lower spec cheaper phone. Unfortunatly with lower spec hardware the experience will drop especially if Nokia's software monkeys get their hands on anything too deep in the code base. There was a reason many of their smartphone devices were rated badly in usibility and speed mainly down to their low specs and less than stellar software (I think the n95 4GB was one of the underspeced ones to avoid). Hopefully they don't make the same mistakes again.
Arthur Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 The same comes down to applications - in fact something I saw on the web said WP7 was the most stable phone OS out of iOS, Android and BB. ... no viruses or pointless anti-virus apps either.
