They have setup a link that enables teachers to access EPORTAL from outside the school. They have informed me that they keep getting thrown of their EPORTAL and could I have a look. When I type in their address from home I end up getting an IP Camera with an ip add of 10.4.124.33 The ip for eportal is 10.4.124.40 ????????? What is going on Thaanks John

The 10.xx.xx.xx address will be an internal only address which will probably only work within your school or within your LEA if they provide your connectivity. If your connection is provided by your LEA, it may be worth speaking to their support people regarding this external connection as they will be able to tell you what to do to get it working, and the corrrect addresses to visit to get the page up. burgemaster Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 (edited) I dont mean to throw a spanner in the works, but we had the same setup and our county council has told us that we "MUST" use dual authentication for staff accessing eportal. For students and parents to login apparently they dont need dual auth, so we have installed a 2nd install of eportal with tighter security and no access for staff logins. https://parents.{school}.sch.uk Edited March 19, 2019 by ZeroHour
