marsdenprimary Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Can anyone recommend some software that will allow children around 9 years old to make a game, preferably a 2D platform type game where you can import your own graphics etc... and then export it as Flash so anyone can play it??? Help would be appreciated very much!
LeMarchand Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 (edited) No time to read up on it (so may not be suitable) but Kodu is in my list of "check when I have time" bookmarks. More details. Don't think it's quite what you are after, but may be worth a look. Edited May 27, 2011 by LeMarchand 1
K.C.Leblanc Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 I've not tried it, but one of our IT teachers asked for this; YoYo Games If you're looking to deploy it in a school stick to version 7. Version 8 only likes to work with which ever account it was installed with. 1
JJonas Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 I agree with K C Leblanc I have used Gamemaker before and its a very good bit of software. 1
