Are there going to be any more animated adverts as I find animations in any form to be irritating? I can just about manage with one but if there were any more I might just kill myself!

The most annoying bit of it was waiting to see who the new advertiser was. Also how about increasing the font size of the sections? because now they are getting lost because of the adverts and I can't just scroll down and automatically see the forum I want.

I agree with Midget about the font size - its getting helluva difficult to distinguish the forums now.

Also, can the ad's be made to open up in a new tab/window as with links in posts?

We can't really tell advertisers that they cannot use their existing banner ads because they are animated... they generally won't advertise then and hence we have no money to run the site. I believe that there is a premium on ads if they are animated though.

These little niggles are to be ironed out in EduGeek 2.0 so I hope you can bear with us... or talk nice to a web guy ;)

If you're using Firefox, you might like the hyperlink find-as-you-type feature to get where you want in the forums list. Just hit the apostrophe key and start typing :)

I find the ad annoying, a because its soooo large and b because its the first one on the page, if it was lower down it wouldnt be as distracting. I know why its there etc but there must be a better way of doing it.
