sted Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 PC: Dreamcast: Crazy Taxi Resident Evil:Code Veronica its a shame the xbox arcade version of this is just plain wrong they have changed the music to something dreadful (or at least it just dosent sound right in the way offspring does) and all the branding has gone so its "take me to the pizza place" rather than pizza hut wonder if they will ever do a new version of this could be fun multiplayer over t'net
Oaktech Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 personal fave, was the metal slug series on the neo geo. I had a friend whose dad did something working closely with snk and he always had the latest games and hardware for the neogeo, including some mad motion sensitive glove thing that never made it to production. It was proper cool!

AlfaTech Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 (edited) You heard the happy news then? Oh wow, I didn't know about this. That's brilliant news! But it's a big shame that Jullian Gollop won't be working on it. Poor chap created the game and then the intellectual rights were taken away from him my Microprose, and now it turns out he didn't even know about this remake at first - Jullian Gollop on XCom. I loved his recent Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars for the Nintendo 3DS (still currently my most played game). Edited January 25, 2012 by AlfaTech
HodgeHi Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Dizzy has been re-born - on the iPad in case anyone is interested and didn't know. I haven't played it so can't comment on how it plays.
GREED Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 X-com was an awesome series of games. Interceptor and Apocalypse (which i stall have via the good old chaps at Steam!). All time games: Elite (NES) Final Fantasy 7 (PS) Goldeneye (N64) Alien vs Predator (Jaguar) - This is the original, and by far the best!
LeMarchand Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 "Little Big Adventure" it was pitched at just the right level for my cack-handedness! Remake on it's way!
Hacksawbob Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Elite being remade via Kickstarter funding... Elite: Dangerous by Frontier Developments — Kickstarter Let's make it happen!

Where's the love for Planescape:Torment, people? An absolute masterpiece of a game, with brilliant and complex roleplaying options - and Morte Edited December 6, 2012 by korifugi *hmmm - had to edit a comma in there, otherwise we'd have "Planescape: Torment People"
Garacesh Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Okay - FFVII has been mentioned VII < VIII ¬.¬
DMcGuigan Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 VII < VIII ¬.¬ Blasphemy! Get. Out. GTFO --> IX for king of the FF games! *hides*
LosOjos Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 IX for king of the FF games! *hides* There's a special place in my own personal hell for IX. Not that I don't like the game, just never finished it because every copy I got used to crash relentlessly until I got fed up.
Garacesh Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 IX for king of the FF games! And I thought I was tempting the reaper...... There's a special place in my own personal hell for IX. Not that I don't like the game, just never finished it because every copy I got used to crash relentlessly until I got fed up. Never completed it either. Not for any particular reason, just haven't done. Vivi always amused me, though.
