Does anyone else publish their policies and procedures either internally, externally or a mixture of both?

We currently have internally a bodge of word documents & word docs converted to html linked through rickety hyperlinks, externally we just PDF the relevant docs and publish them on our website (Joomla and Docman)

Looking at moving to something proper that can link policies with procedures (a many to many relationship for some reason), maybe delegate editing to the relevant SMT or department head but with publishing withheld until approved & be simple for anyone to use or copy the Word doc content across.

My first idea is a Wiki, just not sure if the editing rights are possible.

What do you lot do?

That is possible, yes.

We just upload ours as a PDF when it's been sent to us.

Depending on what wiki engine you use, that would be possible.

I've never used it, but sharepoint and its "magic" should be able to handle what you want.

I wish they just wanted PDF's.

I did think about Sharepoint but it seems overkill for a small project like this. Plus no time to get my head around it at the moment.
