MK-2 Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 to be fair, things like this will only raise the price of it, so the greed of some will have a knock on effect to many. asda will now have to get more fuel in, costing more than they would have expected so will probably pass the price on at the pump.....prompting the people who drained it into cans and containers to complain about how high the price is now

Anyway are you telling me that you wouldnt have gone and filled your car up if it happened near you? There was nothing illegal about filling up at that price, it was Asda's mistake. I admit though that people filling up multiple cans etc are a bit greedy
MK-2 Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 honestly, no i wouldn't have filled up (regardless of the fact i have diesel) unless my car was already at the stage of needing it.

Yet when an individual makes a mistake and suffers for it on a personal level, suddenly they've been wronged and everyone sympathises with them...
LeMarchand Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I know that the staff at the station were probably on minimum wage, but I can't believe that none of them thought to contact management earlier.
SteveBentley Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I read it that the station had closed for the night and only the card-operated pumps were open?
LeMarchand Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I read it that the station had closed for the night and only the card-operated pumps were open? That would make sense! Have a House Point!
