webman Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Maybe the fan broke and it was in need of some cooling... 8)
localzuk Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Eugh. Now I have proof that my fridge contains the crud that time forgot. I have come down with a nice bit of food poisoning Stupid food!
SteveT Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Simple really........... 1. Wife working away last week. 2. Popped into shops on way home from work friday at 3.30. Beer and mag put in carrier bag which already contained PSU. 3. Popped into pub at 4pm for a quick one before returning home to tidy-up before wife returned Saturday. 4. Left pub just after midnight. You can guess the rest, including the wifes comments about the state of the flat on her return. 8O 8O

Guest richard Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Well I now share a house with 3 friends and 5 cats!!!!! We have a total of 3 fridges and 2 freezers all of with could be used for biological warfare experiments!!!!!!!!!
BKGarry Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Lol richard, i share with 3 other housemates, and our fridge is ok (all be it a bit bare) we have 1 frige/freezer and another freezer, but there is some cheese like substance evolving from the leaked milk 2 weeks ago, i am planning on cleaning it up tonight and attacking all of the frost in the freezers with a big big knife. Gaz
_Bat_ Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 there is some cheese like substance evolving from the leaked milk 2 weeks ago... Eww. Milk is just one of those things that you are supposed to clear up immediately I had a bit of a incident a couple of weeks back where I had two days home alone. I got home from work and was thirsty so poured a glass of milk and drunk almost a pint of it down within about three seconds before realising the milk had been in the fridge a little too long and was almost as thick as custard. Needless to say, I vomited pretty much on the spot. Lovely. Its not the first time that has happened either.
timbo343 Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 naff all at the mo, apart from some milk... but dont know how old it is as the old guy brings it in, and hes a bit slow... I want some biscuits, but cant drive due to broken wrist and no-one else can be arsed to go get any.
Joedetic Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Well, I live in a flat with 4 other guys, so the stuff in the fridge is all theirs. There's brocoli in there though....one of them's a healthy type. I need to go shopping, all i have is milk and angel delight. The freezer however, is a different matter
Guest richard Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I am lucky when it comes to shopping and cooking as the only female in the place tends to do a monster shop every 3 months for things like pasta, rice, canned goods etc., which we all contribute too. Also she does a monthly shop which we all contribute to as well. On top of that we tend top buy things like bread, milk etc. as its needed. I know for a fact that there is enough food in the place to last us all about 3 months though our diet would mainly consist of vegetarian curries and chillies
