Trapper Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 I've got a mixture of boring LEA standard: SchoolName-SVR1 AdminSvr1 and the slighty more inventive SchoolNickNameDC02, MOSS1, ISA1 etc Frankly I've never used more inventive and personal naming convention as 1) I won't be here forever and calling my servers Archer, TPol, Trip etc after a TV show would annoy my successor, and 2) Mild embarrasment!

Where's the problem with this? I've had servers named after Red Dwarf Characters and now - Wombles

MK-2 Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Cypher Skynet i think skynet is a given. but only if it is used with a server that actively communicates with all clients, you need to let people know that skynet is spreading!
