GrumbleDook Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 In conversation this evening with the illustrious Skoog-meister that is Domino it got me thinking of his preferences in music. As eclectic and extensive as they are I do feel we are missing something to really show of the talents of The Dead & Buried. So ... as a fan of the Radio 1 Live Lounge, Jools Holland and Demot's saturday sessions ... it has made me ask the question that I think needs some suggestions. If The Dead & Buried were to do Live Lounge what would they cover? I'll start the ball rolling. Simon & Garfunkel - 59th Bridge St Song ... or ... anything by McFly
john Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Some show tunes are needed from the west end I do feel... How about: Raise Your Voice - Sister Act The Musical I Dreamed a Dream - Les Mis The Wizard and I - Wicked Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - well from itself All That Jazz - Chicago I would expect something from our shared love of We Will Rock You as well GD, perhaps Another One Bites the Dust ? 1
john Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Oooh I got another one - Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon and Garfunkel 1
Dos_Box Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Lady in Red. Die. Die. Die. Die Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die *To be fair though some of CDB early 'folky' stuff was actually quite good, especially Spanish Train and Patricia the Stripper.
