Having said that, going with your own name may be no bad thing - it's done no harm for Dell or Hewlett Packard (although whether a Wozniak Macintosh would have been a success we shall never know :-))

GDKIT has most domains free though ... (GrumbleDook Knows IT) ... so probably going for that soon. If you need something even shorter, gd.ki/t and gdte.ch are still available.
