ZeroHour Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Registerd the other day, but it seems I won't be able to watch it! Does anyone know if this will be available to watch/download afterwards? I will try and find out but I would imagine so.
Dos_Box Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 Final reminder guys. This goes out today @15:00 (GMT) today, so if you want to see: a. What Tony and I look like in the flesh and... b. How I sound after 7 days of exhibitions Then this is the webinar for you. I almost forgot about the hour of informed chat and discussion about how to save money in these trying times. You can still register, and it's free so if you are intersted there is still time. Click Here to Register P.S. Yes, my voice is really shot and it was the best I could manage!
GREED Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Same question and motivation as above, would like to download a watch later tonight (or any night!)
Dos_Box Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 It will be archived to be shown at a later date, and I shall let you know when I know.
ZeroHour Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Just a FYI if you register and dont/cant make the time you can still use the email link to view later so register away
GREED Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Me neither, but that doesn't surprise me as most emails seemt o be blocked by our ISP these days!
Hecate Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I've registered but not received the email link
BatchFile Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I've registered but not received the email link Me too - Help!
Dos_Box Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 I can't post the link as each 'invite' is registered to an individual I'm afraid. Don't worry, we'll post the link to the archived version as soon as we can.
Dos_Box Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 It's being broacast now. Words can't explain how shattered I was by this point.
elsiegee40 Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Like others I didn't receive the email, spam filter checked
SteveAJones71 Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Again, I'm another who didn't receive the e-mail
Andie Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 No email either. Registered at lunchtime today. Tried again at 3pm. Nothing.
Dos_Box Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 AFAIK It's an automated system and they had 170 people registered by COP yesterday, so it may be that there is a limit to viewers.
itgeek2008 Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I registered two weeks ago and have never recieved an email
drewp Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Was a great webcast, can it be made available for download?
timbo343 Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I found it very interesting. Esp like the fact that we (britain) have the best IT in schools. Would be nice to see a downloadable version made available
PiqueABoo Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Esp like the fact that we (britain) have the best IT in schools. Not saying it's false but sez who? Based on what? And has it been formally verified by the Guinness World Records?
GrumbleDook Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Not saying it's false but sez who? Based on what? And has it been formally verified by the Guinness World Records? The work that many countries have done on integrating technology into education has been based on research, case studies and real world implementations in UK schools. These countries range from US (who have now set up a group with a striking similarity of targets to those of Becta), Australia (who have been part of the INET program for many years, working with SSAT on many aspects of education, including the use of and innovation through technology), a variety of Middle East countries (you think it is a surprise that so many countries come over to London for conferences just before BETT?) and the list goes on ... Canada, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Ireland, Israel .... I am not saying that every school is at that standard, but a lot of people don't know how lucky they are. Those who met Art on the EG stand at BETT in the first year can testify how a renowned educator and moodler was astounded by how the UK has so much technology in schools.
