About darrenstraight

Personal Information

  1. Yes been getting the same notification emails this morning for alt3.aspmx.l.google.com.
  2. I work in a pupil referral unit and we have the same problem here from time to time (sometimes they break the rubber cups too), the best way I have found of doing it is buying a new keyboard for the laptop and keeping the old one for spare keys, though sometimes the replacemenet keyboard has different hinges to the old one!
  3. WinMerge can also compare directories - WinMerge
  4. Are there only these 4 photos on the iPad? Are they exactly the same ones you see when you connect it to your computer? I've had issues before where I couldn't see all our videos on the iPad through windows explorer until I installed iTunes. Have you checked Apps and such?
  5. Interestingly enough you can see all the possible answers in the page source code. But where's the fun in that!
  6. For me the problems usually occur when I need to reinstall the ESM Server software, such as when I rebuild the PC the software was installed on or if that machine is out of action and need to use a different PC to reinstall the ESM server onto. I have it installed on a machine at the moment that could do with a rebuild but for now I’m leaving it alone, don’t want the troubles I had last time! The administrator client software usually works fine, though I have started getting a data path error which requires me to logon load the software and then log out and logon as the exam account. The share permissions are all fine so not sure why it’s happening, just doesn’t seem to find the share till I logon once. Hope it doesnt break for you, fingers crossed.
  7. @fromtheinternet posted an EduSweep 2.2 download in this topic, however it does not contain the signatures which for that version are located in: %appdata%\EduSweep2\Signatures I have a EduSweep 2.1 version which does include the signature files and these are installed in: C:\Program Files\EduSweep 2\Signatures You can either install 2.2 and extract the signatures from 2.1 (UniExtract program etc) and move to correct location or just use 2.1. Unfortunately however I cant appear to post/upload using the full EduGeek site theme at the moment so I'm using the mobile version and have uploaded it to my website instead, you can find it here: http://www.darrenstraight.com/downloads/edugeek/edusweep2.msi Hope this helps some people.
  8. I run a Minecraft lunch club here at our school for two days a week, the pupils who go to it seem to really enjoy it. We use the MinecraftEdu software which can be purchased with a school purchase order and allows you to run Minecraft without having to worry about troubles that could have occurred from trying to unblock the normal Minecraft launcher and it's websites, such as pupils using their own offensive minecraft account names/skins and being able to connect to external online servers which we would have no control over. Works well.
  9. Just checking, but you are trying to apply it to SIMS v7.148 aren't you? And not v7.146 or before? Patch applied fine for me when I had to do it.
  10. Been trying myself to get a proxy onto an Apple TV (To allow time update / activation / itunes access etc). However the Apple Configurator just doesn't want to allow us to have a proxy on the device! I managed to get passed the "device not responding" part by turning the Apple TV on first without the micro usb cable plugged in and then keep pressing menu button to by pass the time update / activation etc until the light stops blinking on the Apple TV, then plugin in the USB Cable and go through the prepare device process on the configurator. Unfortunately neither global proxy (ensuring its a supervised device) or WiFi Proxy actual seem to apply once the device says it's done and you try to let it update time / activate etc. If anyone does end up finding a solution, please do tell.
  11. Hello, I'm pretty sure this link will help you, it has some registry files on it which I used myself on CC4: System Icons - Enable or Disable - Windows 7 Forums Thanks, Darren
  12. Try this link, it relates to their first version of ActivInspire but the process is still the same within reason: http://www.activboardnz.com/PDFs/ActivInspire_NetworkInstall_v2.pdf Some more help: Article Details *-*Promethean KB Also for ActivStudio but contains some more help: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/av-multimedia-related/36689-promethean-activ-studio-unattended-install.html We use CC4, I used the ASTransGen.exe file to generate a .MST Transform file. I also have a .inspire_license.xml file in the package however of the top of my head I can't remember if this was generated or not. It contains:
  13. Registerd the other day, but it seems I won't be able to watch it! Does anyone know if this will be available to watch/download afterwards?
  14. Have tried Internet Explorer and Firefox (sorry no Chrome) and have cleared cache etc but no luck, it still shows the rotating haloween image from here: http://www.edugeek.net/image/img_redir_dark.php
  15. Hi, Not sure if this has been mentioned cant seem to find it mentioned anywhere. In the forums if you go into a topic > then go to Thread Tools > then Show Printable Version. It shows the Halloween Logo! For example: Streaming Webcam + Digital Signage + Flatscreen TV
