Not sure whether this is a wind up or not really, but apparently you can now get patch cables designed for teaming (i.e. have 3 or 4 connectors on each end).

At the moment we are taping together 3 or 4 patch leads so we can see what goes where.

If such a thing exists and my colleague isn't on a wind up - does anyone know where I can get them from?

Cheers, Ed.

You can buy preterminated cable bundles with patch panel modules on either end that just slot into mating patch panel frames. Hellerman Tyton (among others) make them. They're usually female-female though.

Sounds like you need a bit of heat shrink, just make sure it's not too tight. If you squeeze the cable the datapath narrows and reduces your bandwidth.

naa not heat shrink - use braid as it offers better support in corners and more flexible.
