GrumbleDook Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Well, I am only just catching up on the backlog of stuff from BETT and like RIc I will finally be putting some information online in the next few days (I promise ... I promise). In the meantime I am just asking for expressions of interest for people attending some technical workshops. We hope to run serveral of these throughout the year and those that made it to the session run by Task-IT and the day at Microsoft will hopefully agree that these can be very handy. We have 2 possible events coming up, one in Northamptonshire and the other in Cambridgeshire. These are likely to be the last week of the spring term (just before Easter) and the other in the second week of the Easter holidays. As before these will be free to attend, will be run by one company and cover 3 areas, including at least one hands-on session. Ideally we need 10-15 people for each event and if people could respond over the next week I will see what I can get confirmed. We are also looking at sessions in Hampshire, Nottingham, Yorkshire, Manchester and the annual conference to be held near Birmingham during the summer term, but we can only run the sessions if there is a true need for them.

Andie Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 I'd be interested, depending on the content (I might be nrevous if it looks way out of my league), and my ability to persuade my school to allow me to come (free bit might help!!). Both areas ideal for me to get to!! Probably lean towards first date as hols tend to be difficult with kids to cover (my own, not the ones at school!!). But if husband is willing to hold the fort, who knows...! (So that's a positive maybe then!!) lol
