This has made an appearance on BBC news again, with obviously a fresh bout of these calls going around.

I can't wait for my turn.

"Sir do you need your computer is infected"

"Of course I do, I download all this dodgy porn and illegal games, last count I think I had 27 trojans. Why do you mention it?"

it'll be nice to have a chat with someone vaguely technical. maybe ask if they have tried black ops, or if their gang ringleader is holding a gun to their head while this call is made......you know, small talk

My parents have been phoned. I look forward to my call in school, but my unsavoury language may not be suitable for a work environment. As you say - criminal gangs running this, so perhaps not fair to take it out on the caller.

My wife has had two calls, one from BT, one from a made up firm and a visit from Talk Talk all wanting to check our broadband...............wtf would you need to check? If I had a problem I would call my ISP.

Secretary here fell for it a week ago and gave them access.

Claimed they were talk talk and had noticed her computer was running slow.

I'm looking forward to one of these as they tend to want to remote into the machine to 'fix'. I'll just boot up a vm and watch and laugh as they try to find their way around Linux and convince me they are doing something useful

Could you ask her if it sounded like it was from an Asian call centre? I keep getting calls and as soon as I hear te voice, I ask

"are you from talk talk?"

"Yes"

"How many f-ing times do I have to tell you I don't want your f-ing broadband"

and then I hang up.

So it might not have actually been talktalk! :)
