The theme of the beard is a good one but it needs to be a specific type, you need a full beard with a mechanics moustache that obscures the mouth, a bit icky but I'd suggest a fake one for the time in danger when exposed to high sensitiity identifying CCTV systems like those in major transport facilities. Biometrics measure certain proportions that are difficult to change or obscure, the distance between the eyes, between eyes and mouth, etc. To conceal this you need to remove as many of the data points as possible, dark glases etc.

 

Other than that, actual money, fake passport and if you have or can get a hold of a yaught or other international class sea vessal go for that as the border controls at ports are less stringant and harder to enforce. Dont travel your usual routes or call your usual numbers during or after your escape and so long as you are really lucky you should be fine.

How do I react? Ditch everything electronic and call myself by another name for a start. Then afterwards I'd make sure I dress in inconcspicuous clothing with maybe a baseball cap or something on my head. I can't really cut my hair anyways because I'm going bald (which at 22 is quite depressing). I could shave my facial hair completely off.

 

The biggest thing would be to avoid major built-up areas in favour of smaller towns as there is less chance of 'Big Brother' spotting you. I'd also get my hands on a gun to protect myself with in case the would-be pursuers got too close. I don't quite know how I'd deal with money, maybe borrow from a trusted source and insist on cash only.

 

 

I've watched things like Prison Break, Shooter (film with Mark Wahlberg) and things like this seem quite a possible reality. Also there is The Event which has recetly started airing and is quite good, even though the pilot episode is hellishly confusing.

 

 

The ideas of going to a major city and becoming a homeless person is a decent enough idea but I don't think it suits me. Also the idea abotu withdrawing all your cash, the problem is that if you're in a hurry then you can only withdraw your max from the cashpoint and then max from over the counter, which would give me about £800 and although this is a fair sum it'd leave me with a paper trail.

All in all, best remember to sort a number of good anonymous vpn's and proxys to re-route all your web traffic through. All ways connect to them in a different order and pray that these 'anonymous vpn' sites are not storing your originating IP on their servers anyway.

Well they are certainly one option, but who are they - do you really trust them? Are you certain they are not keeping logs of incoming/outgoing connections and won't fold in seconds of receiving a court order?

 

I wouldn't use them exclusively and would route traffic either from them through other free anonymisers/proxies/vpns or to them from others. Can't be too careful the electronic 'paper trail' is as easy to follow as the physical one

 

 

I reckon most (if not all) of the anonymous proxy sites keep connection logs and install some good trojans anyway...
