...You've become slow, I mean c'mon you have 4 hyper-threaded cores, 6GB DDR III RAM and a top spec 7200 rpm hard drive with 32MB cache, and yet you start up like an elderly astmatic dog. Not just that, it's the random graphical glitch that puts banding over all of the screens which cannot be cured no matter what it is I do. The bizzare need to do disk checks on days of the week with an 's' in them. And to logon...why do you take 3 mins to get to the desktop. There's only you attached to the server!!!! Was it something I did?

No I know some of it is my fault. I've bloated you up with software then given you crash diets, installed weird and wonderful utilities and pushed you hard at times, but it's just got to much, for today is the day when I say enough is enough. Today is teh day I put my foot down. Today is reinstall day. I'm sure it the best thing for both of us and we can move on from the bitter relationship we now have.

So if you'll just let me copy these few files over to your second drive, and pop open your DVD drive tray, we'll begin.........

STOP................................................!

Do a convert to a VM before you wipe it and squirell it away on a USB drive as you'll find out (in about 6 months) that there was some program on it that you need and you can't get any more!
