We still can't access the online manual for BETT yet and as such can't book or organise anything. Which is a pain becuase I've just been going over last years paperwork and we'd booked and paid for almost everything by now!!

Chris, I will catch you online about this I've got some info on this for you.... The idea looks cool, don't forget we need to have all valid PAT Tests on all electrical goods or else the H&S guy will murder you

Frequently Asked Questions Is PAT Testing a legal requirement? The quick answer is no, you are not legally required to have PAT Testing carried out. However an increasing number of insurance companies stipulate that PAT Testing to be carried out as a condition of their policy. If your SLT want cheap you could always stay here - Hostel London located in Russell Square - Voted One of the best Hostels in London by our guests | Generator Hostels its certainly an interesting experience and cheap!! My advice would be look around and probably don't be afraid of having to tube it in a few stops or even zones in the morning if you want a hotel that is cheap everything around Olympia will be rather pricey simply because its BETT week and they know thousands of people will be coming so they bump prices up. I, and fellow Edugeeks have stayed here in the past - Holiday Inn London Kensington Forum Hotel its a nice hotel, and has great views. Don't know where DB is getting accomodation at this year for the BETT people. I've stayed in a couple of Travel Lodges around London and again they are not bad really bit pricey but fine.
elsiegee40 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 It's worth considering stopping a bit further out and "commuting". You'll get a cheaper Holiday Inn or similar in say Milton Keynes, St Albans or Luton and still be able to get to the capital in a sensible journey.
featured_spectre Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 ooooh luton....there is a decent holiday inn right near the motor way, prices are reasonable...if you like travelodge, there is another good one, situated above a pub called the halfway house...and its directly opposite a tesco extra which is open 24 hours a day
