Our Projectors Are Old And Failing Fast

We installed lots of projectors at the same time and now they dropping like flies. I am inclined to use DLP [reduced maintenance requirements is a bonus]

 

Can anyone recommend a DLP projector that is:

 

• Able to cope with bright sunshine
  
• Can be securely mounted
  
• Can be used on a daily basis, perhaps on for six hours a day most school days

Go for the new Casio LED Projectors - no maintenance at all and a 5 year all in warranty.

We're replacing around 20 projectors with the new Casio Bulbless A140 projector.

 

Only problem is, none in the country until end of the month (hopefully) and been waiting over 2 months!

We're going casio here too... no filters to clean, no bulbs to change... bliss!

 

No chance of any money to buy any at the moment, so the temporary supply problem above, isn't an issue!

We're another using the Casio ones for new installs. We now have 2 of these installed, replacing an Epson LCD model and a HP DLP model. The difference is striking. Both teachers love them.

I would have loved the Casios but there is no money and we needed them so we went with NECs- they have been great. Very bright, very clear and in case of any issues, they come and TAKE THEM DOWN, repair them and PUT THEM BACK UP AGAIN!!

(which is a real selling point for me). Tech support is good, too

Casios are well recommended, get them when you can there are some A130 and A135s in the channel thats about it, the rest are now looking more like Christmas, I was told jokingly that I may get one from Santa at Christmas if I was lucky and a good boy!
