HP Probook laptop display issue

We have just had a 3 week old HP probook returned to us as the display is both upside down and flipped!

 

We have reset the rotation settings, but the panel on the laptop is still reversed 180 degrees (like a projector set for back projection!).

 

It does this in bios as well as windows, and reseting the BIOS to defaults has not fixed it.

 

External displays are fine!

 

Any suggestions (other than throwing it through the window?)

Check its connection is tight on the mainboard (usually its just under the top plastic strip by the screen) as that is just not right really, especially if its at BIOS as well, if that feels ok through the plastics, I'd return to sender

Registered the three year on site for it, and will be calling hp tomorrow I think.

 

Really can't think of any thing else.

HP swapped the screen under warrenty, problem solved.
